Vanitha Nagarajan, hailing from a family of artists, is a highly accomplished professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer specializing in Bharatanatyam. She has an impressive educational background, having completed Visharad and Nritya Alankar from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Vidhayalay. Additionally, she holds a Masters in Performing Arts from Bharathi Dasan University.

Currently, Vanitha Nagarajan is a distinguished faculty member at Nritya Kala Kendra, a renowned Performing Arts Institute of which she is a founder member. She passionately teaches Bharatanatyam to aspiring dancers, imparting her vast knowledge and expertise.

Vanitha has conducted master classes for performers, sharing her insights and nurturing their artistic growth. She has also served as a visiting faculty in Bharatanatyam at esteemed institutions like JG College, Upasna, and Gujarat University, enriching the learning experiences of students.

Her dedication to the art form extends beyond traditional teaching. Vanitha has conducted dynamic workshops tailored for students of different levels, including specially-abled children. Through these workshops, she utilizes classical dance as a healing modality, harnessing its therapeutic effects.

As a performer, Vanitha has graced the stages of major art festivals in India and abroad. Her mesmerizing dance has been showcased at renowned events such as the Kalidas and Omkareshwar festivals in Ujjain, Natyanjali festival in Chidambaram, Elephanta festival, Singapore Arts Festival, Lisbon Arts Festival in Portugal, Perth festival in Australia, and Chakra festival in London.
