Suraj Kurup is a versatile voice-over artist with a remarkable ability to effortlessly adapt to diverse roles requiring a range of vocal styles. From traditional Hindi voices to urban contemporary sounds, and from character voices to project-specific requirements, Suraj seamlessly brings life to the voice, making it exciting and captivating. With over 15 years of experience in voice acting, training, and storytelling, Suraj has lent his voice to renowned brands such as National Geographic, Discovery, Coca-Cola, and many more. One of his notable works includes dubbing the protagonist’s character in the Hollywood film “300 Part 2.”
Suraj embarked on his career in the radio broadcasting industry at Radio Mirchi, Ahmedabad, where he excelled in multiple roles simultaneously – a professional presenter, copywriter, proofreader, program writer, on-air host, on-ground anchor for various events, and interviewer, among others. As an RJ at Radio City, Ahmedabad, he hosted, produced, and scripted several popular on-air shows like “The Radio City Breakfast Show,” “The Sunday Breakfast Mornings,” and “Whattefun Weekends.” His exceptional talent led to him being recognized as ISRO’s “Nationally Known Super A Artist” in their voice artiste panel, and he was entrusted with recording notable documentaries over the past 14 years.
In addition to his accomplishments in the voice-over industry, Suraj is also a certified instructor and healer. He conducts sessions on Yoga, meditation, Marma therapy, and Tibetan singing bowl therapy. Constantly seeking to expand his horizons, Suraj actively learns new art forms to broaden his skill set and contribute back to society.
